2:29pm: The weather outside is frightful
Today was the first snow we've had that stuck. Needless to say I was pretty excited. This is definitely my favorite time of the year and the busiest. Sadly the snow melted after a few hours : (

7:22pm: The Sky Above Us part duex
One of my favorite topics of conversation is the good old question, "are we alone?" Many people have there own reasons for not believing in life outside of Earth. Even if they seem ignorant at times. A lot of people however do not understand what, "life" is exactly. In the summer of 1947 there was an alleged ufo crash in Roswell, NM. Since then there has been heated discussions about the topic. I have came across some really bizzare arguments arguing against it. Rather if it is, "I believe in god so no I don't believe in aliens," or "If we're not alone why haven't they visited us yet?" I have a few theories on UFO's and extraterrestrial beings. Do I believe we are completely alone in this vast universe? No. I do believe however that there are explanations that could debunk some of the biggest "evidence" thus far. One theory I have is that most if not the majority of "ufo's" are experimental military air craft. The question is, "how are we able to make the things we have today?" If you look at the past 40 years of aviation we have come a long way. Now it isn't so unheard of for us to have "invisible" technology. It has been done. Some believe we have learned from alien technology not of this world. I cannot deny that claim. Nor will I agree with it.

My favorite explanation for some things to me involves parallel universes. Who is to say that in parallel worlds we are not so far advanced we can time travel and visit other parallel worlds? To answer a question I answered above. Why would extraterrestrial beings visit Earth? have you not looked around lately and seen that there is only one thing that always remains the same throughout the course of history? Hostility and war. Would you really blame them for not wanting to make contact with a race so naive and primitive and cannot stop killing one another long enough to advance as a civilization? People are so frightened by the notion of life existing beyond this planet. A lot of people are so set in there ways and beliefs they refuse to listen to the notion. If it were to turn out true the world would collapse creating debri of false beliefs and fear. Also, who is to blame them? Hollywood has most people scared shitless about the thought of being visited by other life forms. Most films make extraterrestrials out to be terrorists or evil, but how do we know? What if they come here just to have a cup of tea and crumpets? ;p I'm not saying I fully believe in intelligent life beyond ours, but it always leads to a interesting conversation. Plus you learn things about people you never did before. I am just babbling about it at this point and sounding like a nut job lol.
3:41pm: Shadow Complex
There is a game that is coming to XBLA tomorrow called, "Shadow Complex." It is based off of the novel "Empire" by Orson Scott Card. The game uses Unreal Technology which has been made famous by Gears of War. The game was developed and published by Chair and Epic which has me really excited. It's a side scroller in the vein of Metroid, Castlelvania, and many others. The difference is at times it switches to a 3d realm. When you go in for close combat or mount a heavy weapon. The graphics are amazing for an arcade title, but what I most look forward to is the replays. There are certain spots you cannot access in the game until you get certain items and then you can return to that previous location for a sweet collectible and work on those achievements. It's only $15 dollars, which is a steal when Epic had a hand in it.

I'm also really looking forward to Batman; Arkham Asylum. Gamefly has been grabbing my attention lately. That way I would be able to play all the games I want without dishing out 60 bucks all of the time.
